Food for every Mood

Its that time of the year again! The seasons are changing, the holidays are creeping and your in a flux with your mood. Let's try to get into the swing of things by choosing food that helps you increase your moody mood into a happy one. Check out the list below for I have asked health physicians to locals for they're favorite go to food:

1. Your feeling tired:
Try eating something that is packed with protein for example salmon or almonds. They don't have much carbohydrates so they don't make you feel sluggish.

2. Your feeling nervous:
Try eating something that's low-glycemic carbohydrates which produce serotonin in the brain to make you calm. Eat a bagel, rice cakes or pasta.

3. You need a vamp of energy:
Oranges are perfect they digest by the body slowly so you have a longer fuel of energy. Plus it is rich in antioxidants! Plus the smell alone makes you more alert.

4. Your feeling blue:
Chocolate! Which once digested allows your body to release endorphins that are associated with pleasure and love feeling.

Have any other feel good treats let me know! Enjoy!
